Xubuntu on PS3 can't mount rootfs

That's basically it. I've installed the OS 3 times in 3 different ways. All to no avail. I select otheros which brings me to kboot then it says 'can't mount rootfs' and when I type startx it says no such command or something to that affect. I'm not experienced with linux and any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I was doing PSP stuff someone from here led me to this website. Very Helpful on all things console.

I don't know if anyone on here does this sort of thing or not.

Its a total pain... almost not even worth it. Stick with a PC for its purpose and the ps3 for a gaming console. I looked into it and heard a lot of failures and frustration.

I wish I never updated mine.. I had YDL installed on it..
