Using a ps2 through a pc tft screen

Hi there i'm just wondering whether anyone knows whether i can plug my ps2 into my ati radeon 9000 graphics cards s-video socket and play my ps2 through my pc screen with software such as DScaler - if anyone could tell me if this would work and how good the quality would be and if there would be any lag that would be much appreciated. im not sure if you can actually do that because all the PS2 runs off is the EE ( Emotion Engine ) and the GS ( Graphics Synthesizer ) chips. so i doubt it if you could... or unless someone else knows
