Stupid game question

They guys, not this will seem like a very stupid question to you all I'm sure as it does to me aswell but I just want to make sure.
I have bought me a ps3 and am looking for games on eBay. I just want to be sure that when I buy a used game there will be no problem with me playing that game online – it's not locked to the original purchaser or anything?

No its not. You're fine, there's no "CD key" for ps3 or 360 games. As long as you have the game in your disk drive it will work.
