I was just wondering if there are any solderless mod chips out for the PS2. If so, how much are they. I've heard many times that soldering a modchip into a PS2 is only for someone who's pretty good with a soldering iron, which I'm not.
There are solderless mod chips for the PS2. You can check out playstationmodchip. I've heard of that one from a friend, but there's others listed when you do a search.
Hopefully, an experienced PS modder will know which are best!
they all suck and require swap discs and some times you will need to do double swaps just to get 1 game to boot , not to mention there are alot of newer games that will not work with them . for the price of a no solder mod and swap discs you might as get a no swap chip put in and save your self the agravation .
