I believe that one day, humans will finally see that porn is bad.
Disguisting stuff like this should all be banned. Anyone with common sense should know this. It really does go to show that humans still have a long way to go until we become a fully civilized, intellegent species.

Exactly. If anything, porn helps curb and keep control of sexual urges. If more rapists stayed home and jacked off who knows how many assaults could have been totally avoided.

The thing that sort of disturbs me, is that most humans don't need to procreate anymore. We've exceeded our limits. I reckon many countries have huge populations and for some, it's even becoming a major concern. (Think Tokyo, New York City, and China). We have already created enough people already and if this rate continues for another millenium, we would probably all be cramped and living in small homes that no sensible human would live in today. Another thing. Scientists have already come such a long way in understanding the science and fields of procreation, reproduction, and genetics without any help from pornography. Most modern scientists and biologists hardly refer to internet pornography during their tests and researches. Our understanding of human genetics have already reached near-full capacity. During the mid-1900's, Francis Crick and James Watson had already found proof of the characteristic double helix in DNA, long before pornography was widely available on the internet. Further on, messenger RNA was found to be the intermediate between DNA and protein, also without the help of pornography, and finally, the human genome project was completed in late 2000, and guess what? Also without the help of any pornography at all.
And another reason is that people are genetically programmed to find human genetalia offensive and disguisting. The source of this was proabably created back in our old evolutionary roots, which was suggested by Charles Darwin. When people think about something, it can either make them feel good or feel bad. Gaining money and using new appliances can make you feel good. Human reproductive organs and waste-removal organs can create undesirable feelings of disguist and uncleanliness. Simply not good for the brain.
The last reason, although not actually a reason at all, is that biological reproduction is nowhere as good as other new artificial methods of procreation. Although too expensive now, in the future, most people will be looking towards having their babies artificially cloned and changed to allow certain characteristics that the parents may want their future child to have. As technology is ever increasing, natural methods of living are slowly replaced with artificial methods. Biologicial reproduction is similar to a video player being copied. Sometimes, errors may occour in the magnetic tape which can cause birth deficencies or even heridity-based syndromes such as Down Syndrome or Asperger's Syndrome. Artificial methods of procreation, widely available by around 2070 or even sooner will be more like digital-based video formats, such as DVD. These will eliminate complicated pregnancies, disguisting biological reproduction, painful childbirths, and heredity-based syndromes and disorders. Maybe even cancer and neurological conditions too. So technically, cloning is the way to the future.
So, if pornography doesn't help the science community in anyway, promotes more reproduction and procreation, leading to overpopulation and disintegration of natural resources, is considered offensive and somewhat disguisting, and is destined to be replaced sometime in the near-future, what good can it possibly do?
And i'm really sorry if I have offended anyone by writing this. But keep in mind, i'm just asking a question and an answer would be greatly appreciated.
