PS4 Blu Ray drive problems

So, during an argument, my mother picked up my dad's PS4 and threw it on the floor. The machine still runs, connects to the internet, plays downloaded games. The only problem seems to be with the Blu Ray drive.
It accepts discs, and ejects them with out problem, but it will not read/run any of them.

Other than just outright replacing the drive, does anyone know of any other possible fixes? We've tried all of the less intrusive methods that have been suggested but, obviously, they haven't worked.

Maybe your dad needs to pick your mother up and throw her on the floor for acting like a child?

Other than that, RMA it, if it's out of warranty grab a drive off Ebay.
