Hi to all!
I've got a PS2, V5, chiped with a NoSolder, and i use the AR2 discs to boot it.
I recently got 4 DVD's copied that i can't manage to play!!!
They're Ace Combat 5, Tiger Woods 2005, Syberia 2 & Burnout 3...
It's weird, since all DVD games i had until now are perfectly working...

I wonder if anyone know any issues with these games working with a Nosolder chip....

TIA

Ace Combat 5, Tiger Woods 2005, Syberia 2 & Burnout 3

Are these ORGINALS or COPIES?

They're copies, on DVD-R, brand "DataWrite", yellow label...

It's weird, since i've donne a surface scan with ISO Buster and all appears to be there...
Also all the other games i have with those DVD's work perfectly...

The No Solder chip only supports games with a certain TOC. Check to see if the TOC (Read time ie; 78 Minutes) is higher than your other DVD Games. You may need to make the dvds smaller with a compression program.

They're all smaller than all my previous backups, even Colin McRae 04, wich is the biggest TOC i have works smoothly!!!!!

The issue is that it might not be the NoSolder chip, but the games itself...
Maybe they use the "double boot" feature, no????
Since i'm using AR2....
Maybe i'll give it a try with SwapMagic 3.2......

TIA
