I think that's not the actual new logo of Playstation... I read some review of it and It's related to the rumor PS4...

Everyone was totally wrong for those that do not have a PS3 its the new Symbol for the PSN Category they added to the XMB in Firmware 2.00 and above.

actually in the XMB its Blue with some 3d shading done in white, unless of course you make a custom theme or use one.

hrmm wrong place to say this! but whats w/ the ps3 hating.. i love ps3 from what i've experienced so far.. full 1080p delicious.. and need i say, blu ray movies looking freaking AMAZING!!!! and i dunno... ps3 has amazed the **** outta me... while i do still love xbox 360... i see ps3 doing far more greater things
