minor ps2 case mod help

I am wanting to do a minor case mod on my PS2. I would like to find power and data extension cables for a hard drive so that I do not have to remove and replace the network adapter. Any ideas on if this will work or not and were I can find the cables.

Why would you want to do that when the HDD fits nicely inside the Expansion Bay behind the Network Adaptor?
