Laggy system.

Hey Guys. I have a PS3 and just recently it has started to lag all the time. It takes for ever for me to sign onto the PS3 and then it takes forever to even start a game. As soon as I get the game going and start playing it the lag is gone, but it probably takes me up to 1/2 hour to get from turning the system on to getting to the game's main menu.

Does anybody have any clue why this would be happening? The system is exactly one year old.

Is it always the same game that takes forever to startup? Do you have PS3 setup to automatically sign into the playstation network?

I don't even necessarily have to have a game in the system. It is just laggy all the time. Game or no game. No, it doesn't automatically log me in.

Then the system could have an issue, i would call sony's support line.
