xbox360 kinnect problem

well first off when i go to power on my xbox its takes a few minutes the power cord is orange then turns green then when it finally does come on it beeps and beeps and beeps as it does this the tray opens and closes by itself then comes a red dot in the middle of the power button and it dosent turn off HELP PLEASE

If you are using the old xbox you need a adapter to plug into the mains. If you have the new xbox make sure you use the kinect optimised USB port ( the orange one ).

Not sure why you posted in a kinect thread from March about a disc tray error?

Whats the problem exactly though? Do you get an error message or something?

Depending on the model the problem with your disk try is located either on the top or the side of the box.

Your problem may have to do with the tray your disc is inserted in.
