Can I rip burned music onto my xbox? I know you can do it with regular cd's, but its giving me problem with one that I just burned.

Just in case anyone was wondering you cannot rip burned music onto your xbox without a mod chip.

you can rip burnt music on ur xbox but only from a Re-Writable disc

you can rip burned music to your xbox without a mod but the xbox is very picky about which disk it will take,try various CD-RW

I think it depends on the burn speeds. The lower speeds at which you burn the disc the more likely it is to accept it, e.g 4x speed.

It depends on what kind of CD drive you have in your xbox. If you purchased your xbox the first year it came out you have a Thompson drive. These drives dont read CD-R's but the newer ones have Phillips or Samsung drives, which do read CD-R's.

yes M2K4 i have the samsung drive in both my xboxs damn lucky as they are the best drives and read the most discs. Ive burnt loads of cdrs to my xbox.
