A friend of mine's xbox started f-ing up on him randomly. You know the big button to eject the tray? Well when he presses it the light around it flashes green three times and nothing else happens. (tray doesn't come out) All he has in the xbox is a halo 2 disk so he's not complaining too much. 
Also for like the first 6 minutes of the system coming on he hears a type of whir whir fade in fade out coming from the xbox. I think it's the fan that is faulty causing the noise. Any suggestions?
