I just bought an xbox arcade is it possible to add a HDD to these. I was trying to play my old games and said I needed HDD to play old games.

ye it is possible to put a hdd on to it
microsoft do a 20gb and 120gb one for it, you would have to get one of them 2 for it to work (uk prices are £60 for the 20gb and £130 for the 120gb)

in one way yes and one way no
you can play on xbox live in some games
others you would need the hdd for, a example is gears of war theres download maps and a mulitplayer game in a update for the game you would need the update to use the online mulitplayer on the game again
but i think most games you will be able to play online with, but i've always had a hdd so i'm not 100% sure
