Is their any software that you can download of the internet so that you can so things like view images, play old retro games etc, with out modding your xbox console?

My friend told me something about modding an xbox with a USB port on an xbox memory card and a copy of Mechassault.. I'm not sure about the whole thing, but there is probably something about it on the http://www.xbox-scene.com forums.

Ibeleive that with MechAssult (1) and a memory key, you can install linux on an XBox without modding it (ie inserting modchips and the like)
