Question about Limited Edition Xbox

Hey,

I have just recently cashed up my PS2 and purchased a limited editions Xbox, aka 'Crystal Version'.
After finding out that i need a Dvd Playback Kit to watch movies, i must ask whether anyone knows...

Is there a 'crystal version/limited edition' Xbox playback kit?
Is it discontinued? Was it ever actually manufactured?

I had a few le's once, because i love xbox.
