I like the install games feature, installed Halo 3 to my hard drive and now it isn't so noisy every time I try and play it.

But you aren't supposed to install Halo 3. It causes worse loading times and other issues.

Yeah, I read that, but who cares lol, it runs fine from the HDD, I don't notice any difference and it is a TON quieter, even Live works fine from HDD. No different than loading maps from downloaded content, single player doesn't have any loading lag time, I don't have any problems with it.

I think so, don't have to be Gold but at least Silver (free) to connect.

7 RROD's that's some bad luck right there. hopefully it wasn't in a row one after the other.
