Hi everyone, im thinking about buying a new 19"-22" LCD moniter/tv for my 360 but i really dont know what one to get.
Ive only got the normal 360 so i cant use HDMI but would still like it on the moniter/tv and it would need 480i, 480p, 576i, 576p, 720p, 1080i & 1080p if possible.

I found the Samsung Series 6 LE19A656A1 19" to have everything i need but if anyone has any better moniters/tvs i would appreciate any info.
Also the Samsung Series 6 LE22A656A1 22" looks cool aswell.

Thanks in advance :)

Ouch, 1440x900? Come on! I'm using an HP w2007 (20", 1680x1050, 1000:1 contrast ratio, HDCP ready DVI/VGA monitor) and it's awesome. Go with a higher resolution. Not too sure about the conversion rate (I'm in USA) but I'm thinking dollars are probably worth less, my monitor only cost $250 (USA dollars) and it's bigger and higher resolution.

As for the 480i stuff, the number indicates the number of vertical rows (1024x768 for example is pretty much 768p, very similar to what you'd get with a 720i/p input). A 1440x900 won't get you 1080i/p, but a 1680x1050 gets you much closer (true 1080 is 1920x1080 or 1920x1200, but those are usually only found on 22" or higher monitors).

Does it need to be a TV or can it just be a monitor? A monitor won't have your composite/s-video/SCART (for you UK people)/RF/component, but it will usually be cheaper, bigger, and higher resolution than a comparable TV set that has these inputs. If it's just for 360, I'd get a monitor, as the VGA cable works really well.

Just so you know, PC widescreen and TV widescreen are different ratios. Not too big of a deal but just letting you know.
