My brothers' xbox just broke

Well, it broke once before. I think they got the same one back, but if they didn't, it wouldn't be under warranty anymore? That sounds like bs.

It's happened before, sometimes they will send a refurb that supposedly doesn't have the issue anymore and only has a one year or one month warrenty, if I was him I would check before forcing it to RROD...

I really don't think he has any clue how to check. I mean, it can't make things worse in any way, can it? If it isn't covered, he'll pay the cash either way.
