Messed up 360 Graphics.

Yeah, it is cheap! And the problem with the old xclamps is that they bend and stretch. So, eventually you would run into the same problem.

To fix my old RROD'd 360 I just replaced the old x-clamp with screws.

My 360 never even RROD'd on me. The graphics were going haywire. To mention; when I had the case open I noticed charcoal color grill marks at the bottom of the disk drive, so it was definitely running hot. On another note; I did call 1800-4MY-XBOX (the help line or whatever), and they wanted to charge me $128 bucks to send it out. This was... Two or three months ago. Plus another $20 to renew my warranty???

Anyways it's running fine now. Ran Fallout for a good six hours on my last day off from work without issues.

Yeah that isnt a good sign when you see stuff like burn marks. I would seriously consider getting the system looked at by a pro. Cause you can risk your whole system going down if you keep pushing it.
