Ok, on the level "assault on the control room", there is suppose to be a way to climb dwon the canyon or something to get to Fireteam Zulu when they come, without taking the elevator. There's covenant dropship that comes a dispatches the covenant troops. I have tried just about every which way, but it's such a long drop and I keep dying and it's been driving me nuts!!!!! I know there is a way...I just haven't found it.
when you see the "fireteam's" ship being attacked, go all the way across the bridge. go into the side of the mountian and you'll fight through some normal rooms. You'll come to an elevator that will take you to the bottom of the canyon where your boys are at. Good luck.
