hey guys please help me out!

i'm really hoping somebody here will be able to help me figure out what is going on with my x-box. It is the first version released and this just starting happening about 2 days ago. when i'm playing after about 15 minutes the T.V screen goes black and the video 2 symbol just shows on the corner of my T.V also on the x-box the light flashes yellow. it's almost as if the video cord is pulled out. I tried a different cord from a friend and i'm having the same problem so I don't believe it's the cord. if anybody has any ideas on this I would really appreciate it. Thanks

it sounds like a defective machine, maybe u should return it and get a new one instead.

first generation ones are pretty crappy. My friends wont read alot of disks. Also check the video port on the ass of your xbox to make sure that it is not dirty/damaged. Controllers are sometimes effected by this, and cleaning them out helps.
