Headset adapter xbox controller

Hi, I have a Creative Fatal1ty Gaming Headset with two, two channel 3.5mm jacks for voice/& speakers and would like to plug it into an Xbox 360 controller.

I searched around town, phoned companies and did some web searches but not able to find a dual stereo 3.5mm to single 2.5mm that would work. I'm guessing I'd need a quad channel on the single 2.5mm side.

Perhaps this isn't the way to try it. I'd settle at this point for a 3 channel jack if that worked.

Do I have to get a specific headset for the controllers?

Thank you for the reply. Perhaps that would work with a jack to RCA adapter if one of the channels from each of the jacks from the headset would pipe through. I'm not sure how many channels the xbox controller has for sure. If it's 3 or 4 channels then a two channel jack to the controller wouldn't work.

It's a single channel of audio+mic, you can tell by the connector too; there's 3 contacts which is one ground plus a signal each for audio out and mic in.

So the controller is mono for both audio and mic. I'll check out adapter options on that.
