connecting my xbox to my pc

ive got a wireless adapter on my pc and an ethernet port. i had the connection bridged up and working fine then suddenly it stopped working. on the network bridge it now says 'network cable unplugged' also when i bridge up the connection now i lose internet on my pc. please anyone got any ideas

I know when I tried to hook mine up the first time - I couldn't and got similar errors - found out it was my 24 port Ethernet Hub - it only operates at 10mbps speed instead of 10/100 or 10/100/1000 - Xbox360 requires at least a /100 connection to work properly. Unplugging my network from the hub and directly into my router and PC (and leaving a few things out for now) I was able to connect with no problem.
