Is Arcade Fully Functional?

I'm planning on getting the XBox Arcade now that the price is so juicy. But does anyone know if using an external USB drive has all of the same funtions as if I bought the Pro?

I mean can I download songs for GHWT, play game demos etc. off the external drive?

I'm pretty sure you can't save game data or Xbox live stuff onto an external hdd. You can only use an external drive formatted to Fat32 to play music, view pictures, or watch videos. I've tried it with a normal 360 and I'm sure it's the same for the arcade version.

Yeah, the external drive doesn't work. Otherwise everyone would buy the arcade version and a $50 200GB external hard drive! If you want my opinion, you can look on eBay and pick up a cheap 20GB hard drive.
