I am trying to make myself ready for all the possible threats

Aircrack suite included in Kali Linux.

Reaver if you have WPS enabled.

Cracking WPA2 can be very time consuming, you also have to have a huge wordlist available, you can just google and them. Reaver is always best shot for WPS and sometimes it still works even if WPS is turned off on certain routers. Hopefully your testing this against yourself or have permission to do so on whoever owns the network.
