Question Where is a good place to store 2FA recovery codes?

I use a password manager and two factor authentication, via an authenticator app, for all sites that support it.

Where is a good place to store recovery codes for each site? Is the password manager considered a good place? Or should they be printed out and stored in a safe deposit box or similar?

Thanks!

Encrypt it and store it wherever you'd like. I use keeweb for the passwords and OTP, and an encrypted text file on my NextCloud server for 2FA recovery codes.

Write it down on a peace of paper and hide it, safest thing unless you forget things
