Remove malware from a Windows PC

Anyone know any good user friendly steps to remove malware from a Windows PC, namely windows 7 and up.


Or recommended software to help with removal etc.

Boot into safe mode.

Run RKill (https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/rkill/)

Run an updated copy of Malwarebytes AntiMalware (https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/thankyou/). Checkmark each thing found and have it clean it. Reboot into safe mode.

Run RKill again.

Run Combofix (https://combofix.org/download.php).

Rinse and repeat.

If you want even more then download Zemana (https://www.zemana.com/antimalware).

Always if you know you are affected by malware the best idea is reinstall a system. You never know where a malware is rooted.
