IPsec Software?

I am studying for security + exam and I was wondering where I could get some affordable IPsec VPN software. I found some on google hosted in other countries but they do go really slow, I was wondering if anyone had some ideas so I could get some hands on experience with this.

You could buy a VPN server on ebay, you should be able to pick one up very cheap.
Or setup a VPN server via a VM, there are a few free VPN server apps, such a freelan, although I can't remember if that does ipsec.
But it could give you a starting point, by setting up a virtualized environment.
