how do you protect your privacy in general

with facebook and google and pretty much everything down to autozone trying to gather personal information about you to keep track of everything you do.

how do you manage you rprivacy without being an obsessed conspiracy nut?

i mean i go to parts store they want to know where i live my email and what food i ate last sunday...

I just limit what information I put out there and give to places.

Have "spam" email addresses that you give out that isn't associated with any of your personal info.

i cant even fart without facebook knowing it and posting ads on my timeline


i search for something on my phone and right away get ads on facebook someone trying to sell me sht i was searching for..

Use a different search engine, such as Duck Duck Go. Google is in the business of ads - that's where 90% of their revenue comes from, and making targeted ads is what they work on improving. Be glad ads are targeted nowadays, rather than getting ads for male enhancement pills on a site like Newegg .
