Admin password locked

OK, so I have an old HP dc5750 desktop that a user needs back on our network. Easy. Unfortunately, the standard admin password had been changed. So I got my handy crack disk and successfully changed the password; HOWEVER, the admin account is locked due to 3 unsuccessful log in attempts, and I have been unable to reset it. There is an "unlock" option with the cracking software, but that won't reset the unsuccessful attempts. I would prefer to not have to re-image this thing--anyone have any suggestions on how to reset the admin?

What software are you using?

Use NT Offline Password & Registry Editor:

You can unlock the account & blank out the password (don't reset it to something else, just blank it out).
