x-padder questions

I want to set up my xbox 360 controller for GTA 4 and was wondering if there is a way to set it up so a button can have more than one job depending on the situation, i.e., A being spring on foot but gas in car and up with the stick being forward on foot but nothing in a car. Can xpadder do this?

I dunno what xpadder is but that sounds like something that would only be possible if the game supported it

GTA IV supports the xbox 360 controller and you should be able to change all that in game.
