Win 7 and COD

I've read many have it working fine but I'm having no luck, COD modern warfare is the one i've been trying the hardest to get working but no go so far. Right now it seems to start then the screen goes black like it's loading then it just disappears and I see a quick flash of what looks like an error message but it too disappears in less than a second with no chance of reading it. I've installed ita few times with the same result in 7 with and without computability mode and it does the same on both. any ideas how to get this working, Tired or rebooting into XP whenever I want a little gaming action.

Not sure, but Call of Duty: World at War works for me on Windows 7 (on Steam).

well, works fine for me on win7.

do you have the latest DX9 stuff installed?
