Will Left for dead work on AMD Phenomâ„¢ 9950 Quad-Core 2.6GHz

You should be more than able to run L4D on your PC! Left 4 Dead states that it requires a 3.0GHz single core CPU, or a 2.4GHz+ dual-core or better. 2.6GHz quad core should be more than plenty.

I didn't even know they had those. I thought it just went p4>pD>c2duo>c2quad>i7. Oh well, I didn't pay attention to stuff back then. I got a computer with a pentium D, and then I was kind of out of it for awhile.

Yeah the Core Duo is to the Core 2 as the Extreme is to the i7 pretty much. Core 2 was just as easy to make as the core duo, but it was also better. My bro has a notebook with one (core duo) in it...that's how I know.

Well yes it will, but whats the rest of your specs? Its not use having a good CPU if your gonna bottleneck it with less able hardware.

I have 4gb Samsung DDR2, 750gb HDD, nVidea 250GTS, 750w PSU, Windows XP Home (i didnt want vista)
