Will this computer run Sims 3 well?

will run The Sims 3 smoothly and if it can go on high settings? I've been planning on buying a new computer for gaming and something that will run fast. My budget is under $800,so I want to know if there are better computers or if this computer is the one. Here's the specifications for Sims 3: http://www.thesims3.com/game/systemreq

You pretty much answered your own question. You looked at what the requirements are. The system you linked to surpasses them on every level. So you can conclude from there what the answer will be.

I would say high settings but not maxed out.

I think you'd have absolutely no problem running it on High settings. You may even be able to try maxed if you feel up to it. I've played Sims 3 on an Intel GMA X4500 before, and it wasn't even that bad, so it should run it completely fine.
