well same here. apart from my ATI card is the Rage 9800 pro, yes it displays one screen res a 16colours... go ATI (my very first card) my nVidia is the 5900 :p

I recommened the ATI because I know its the best mobile card availale. Personally I have a FX 5650Go in my laptop which was the best one that was available when I got it. Thats why I have the nVidia logo.

I got the Mobile ATI Radeon 9600 in my laptop (specs below) and it runs good. even Halo which is a big hog on processor speed and resources. but my desktop has Nvidia, they both work well.

Yes i agree, Alienware laptops are AWESOME for gaming. simply the best, but VERY expensive. If u have the money, then i say go for it...

Gaming on a laptop..... tiSk, tiSk. You're going to add four pounds to a normal notebook, take away a couple hours of battery life from a notebook, and add a couple geEz, for a gaming notebook. If you insist check out this AlienWare out, even though it doesn't come with a ATI card.

to kinda bring this topic back to life alienware is not the only one with a good gaming pc these days.

hypersonic makes some pretty sweet mobile gaming systems and they can be found here:

www.hypersonic-pc.com

of course there is alienware:

www.Alienware.com

i read in GMR about the Dell Inspiron XPS series and it seems to be up to snuff so here that is:

http://www1.us.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/inspn_xps?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs

and last but not least voodoo pc makes moblie gaming systems also:

www.voodoopc.com

there is also an article on ign about gaming laptops that i found interesting and that is here:

http://gear.ign.com/articles/453/453084p1.html

these are the ones i have heard good things about so if there are any others out there please post about them.

Hypersonic makes great laptops, but if you get a paintjob it takes close to a month for them to ship out your laptop to you.. But they look great and are great lol.. :p

However, they look the same as Sagers, which you would want to get one from PCTorque (http://pctorque.com), with or without a paintjob dont matter, though the paintjobs are expensive, the 5690 and 8790 run games great :) :p

And uhm O.O Yah :p Alienware :p
