Trotter, i had on of those keyboards, and they are crap keys arn't steady and letters fall out...

I use a Logitech G15 and a Razer Habu for my mouse .
Combo is really good .

the g15 keyboard looks the best to be so far...and the g5 or g7 mouse(depending if you like wireless or not)

and the fact that it has LED.
When i play games at night i hate the fact that i have to use my cell phones light or look closer.
Ill just wait for a good deal on that keyboard and get it for sure...my mouse has been good to me and ive had no problem with it so ill stick with taht.

Now that you mention it, it wasnt something i was looking for in a keyboard, but honestly, i never turn it off. And if i do turn it off, i find that i miss it.

I think i picked mine up through buy.com for like 47 after MIR, which i still havent sent in....still wasnt a bad price before rebate.
