what happened to Far Cry

I remember far cry being given out free a few months ago, and now when i finally decide to download it it give me this error while installing "must live in the US to play this title". WTF does that mean? I live in the US, whey can't I install it?

I used the UBI account i made about 2 years ago... does anyone know how to install the game?

i just downloaded a pirated version a while ago, works great. lol. although, pirated versions are always a bit glitchy with graphics. like i'll be walking and the sky will turn black, then you turn your head and it goes back to the correct color, then turn it away again and it turns black again, strange. but hey, it's free, can't complain. i cna't wait till far cry 2 comes out, it looks pretty awesome.
