What is a good graphic card and proccesor

Hello guys i am new to these forums and i am looking for a new proccesor so i can update this pc. this pc can handel counterstrike source.
My computer spec's:
Model Inspiron 560
Processor : Pentium(R)Dual-Core CPU E6700 @ 3.20GHz 3.20GHz
Installed memory: 6GB
System type: 64bit
And my display is : 1920x1080

i am looking for a good proccesor and video card that can handel call of duty or the witcher possibly battlefield 3 on medium graphic's. i dont want anything too exspensive i was looking for something between 100-400 possibly 500 well thanks. or maybe i could overclock.

Oh, youre going to get a nasty note for a 30min bump...... Seriously though, 24hrs or you'll lose the thread.

We need to know the power supply size as that limits the gpu selection.

You might beable to do a quad core like a q6600, or q8400.

But that6 processer is gonna cost way more than its worth.

You seriously may want to look at a newer AMD or i3 system for the $500 range. Theres a thread on here active doing pretty much this build.
