The mouse and keyboard are the best controlers for the pc.

I'd say the Saitek ones are the best. I have a p2000 I think, and it rules. Fully programmable buttons, you can even bind your mouse to one of the joystic axis, and it autocalibrates the joystic axis as you use it, so when ya wanna use it? spin both joystic's in circles like 2 times, and done, and you're ready to frag.
Now, not all PC games support force feedback, and some that do support it do a hideous job. So for those I suggest this little program: http://www.immersion.com/gaming/products/touchware/TWGaming.php
it's awesome, it lets you bind force feedback to each button inna certain way, or make it set your foce feedback according to the sounds generated by your soundcard. Works great I say, definately worth the cash.
