What is the best kinda monitor for gaming $200 and less

What is the best type of monitor to buy for gaming that is $200 or less?

I'm planning on getting the ViewSonic G90FB 19" PerfectFlat CRT Monitor. It's $198 so it's right in your price range and, judging from the reviews I have read, is a pretty high quality monitor. That's what I would suggest.

ccskorn... that's a really nice deal! I'd get it, but my case is black with blue led's, so it'd look weird, lol. wow, I can't believe that's under $200, but most everybody is going lcd, so crt's are going down. I'll have to look around for a deal like that!

i have this one, it's absolutely amazing! when you use the "super-bright" mode, the colors are vibrant and you feel even more immersed in games.

it's a flat-screen CRT

even great for photoshop, video playbacks, etc.

i highly recommend this monitor, i only wish i could afford the 22".

Not much on monitor selection but when you do pick one out I found that when building my friends computer he found a nice 19" CRT on Newegg.com, turns out shipping was 40 bucks.... So we head to our local Best Buy and turns out they had the same one. Now it obviously cost more than the list on newegg but with the 40 shipping added to newegg it was the same price, so all in all he got it without any wait and it was within 2 bucks of the online total, just a suggestion to you when actually purchasing one, mabey check local stores if available to you.
