THE PSP. and you didnt see that replacing PCs, even though it could do all of it, and in your pocket.

thats because PCs do all those things BETTER, and you can UPGRADE them!!!

and they are more fun, and the music is better, games are better, movies are better, because the system is older and more advanced by now

You know, It's ggetting kind of aoyying..... Everytime i hear someone say out the clear blue sky that Macs suck, PCs suck, Nintendo sucks, Sony sucks, ect... And refuse to explain why, as if their opinion is above all other fact weather they know the facts or not.

Now, hopefully i will say this **** for the last time: SAYING SOMETHING SUCKS DOESN'T MAKE YOU SOUND SMARTER. It makes you sound like biased and un-educated children!

Yeah, we all know that a console is not going to replace an actual PC for any reason. After all, what do people use to make games for the consoles?

Even if the PS3 is advanced, if Phil Harrison is getting mocked for saying that PS3 will replace the PC, then it doesn't make you sound any smarter saying that Sony sucks. AFTER ALL, he wouldn't have made the statement if it PS3 didn't come close, would he?.

Just because the PS3 can do most that PCs can, doesn't mean PCs are going to be wiped off the earth. In that sense, if Sony sucks anyway, (even now that they have the PS3) then that doesn't make PCs look too good anyway, now does it?

Thats just like somebody saying that Macs suck, knowing that Macs can do everything that PCs can and they've always been practicaly the same.
Besides, saying ANYTHING sucks is a manner of opinion. Don't go throwing your OPINION around like you know everything.

though, you have to admit, in the area of GAMING (which is what this forum is about) macs DO suck. they have a miniscule selection of games when compared to the PC, and most of the games are older editions of the newer ones on PC, because the games are originally written to work on PC and have to be ported to mac before they can be commerciallized there.

now, SOME games come out (mostly older ones, from what ive seen) that work on PC/Mac interchangably, so that keeps mac up to date, but still, the mac is much more user friendly, and when you get user friendly, you lose some versatility. you cant do as much in depth editing of the computers software on a mac as you can do on PC.

also, like 90% of freeware programs out there are made either solely for pc or ported to mac eventually

but i have to admit, macs OWN pcs in the area of graphical design (mac photoshop > pc photoshop for some reason) and they do look better, and are MUCH easier to use for the "pc uninclined"

For crying out loud, Macs play games the same way PCs do. How can you say that Macs suck at gaming when they play games the same way, and have the same preformance? It just doesn't make sense to say something sucks because of its selection of software.

And why in the **** would you say that macs can't have as much in-depth software editing as the PC? Mac OS uses recource fork allocation. (Something PCs cant do) That is how mac knows the difference from a Jpeg and a program file, which is alot more reasonable (To me, at least) than just putting an extension at the end of a file.

Another thing, Macs have a great deal simpler programming language than C# (It's awsome, I even made a little startup disk once ) And in some ways, allows more versitile editing of files.

Honestly, people should stop getting their information from rumours and second-hand opinions. Macs don't suck at anything, and neither dose PCs.

If I'm not going to Judge a PC for having the monstrosity of Windows, (which might be different when windows vista comes out) then you shouldn't sayu Macs suck because they dont have as many games. I mean, it isn't like they CANT play games at all, cmon.

Personally, I would take a Mac over a Windows system anyday.
