wc3 with x800xt

hi, my friend just build his computer with all updated drivers
ati drivers and directx 9.0c

this desktop shows up perfect at 1152x648

but for some reason his warcraft 3 only has the 2 options of 640x480x16 and x32

no other options like 1076x968 whatever
i checked blizzard's site and searched yahoo with no luck on answer. . .

anyone here has that problem or answer?

um warcraft III is a really old game, and the game doesn't go up to what your MONITOR supports, it goes up to what the game supports

the max is 800x600 i think

thats what i figured, but theirs no 800x600 for him. . .i think his lcd is native 16:9, dunno if that prevents him to play game or not. He just loaded CounterstrikeSource -- still kinda weird. he is on 868x638 or some weird numbers.

i'll get exact when he plays again.
