Recently I have set up a minecraft Server and it has been running great for the most part but sometimes I'll get a java VM error message which I believe may be due to the computer only having 4 gb of ram. I know there is a way to allocate more ram to server but I would rather buy more of it. I would like to have all the same memory but I can't find the exact model of ram stick that I already have in there. I have ram very similar to this G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ - Newegg.com but it's not the same. My motherboard is a Asrock 970 Extreme3 if worst comes to worst and I can't find the exact same memory would the one I linked work?
The ram model that I have now is: F3-12800CL9-2gbeco it's G SKILL, 800mhz, dual channel, DDR3.
