tweaks for improving oblivion performance

I've definetly have to try this when i get on my computer(on my bros at the moment). It looks like i qualify for all of the tweaks, and about the PCI latency tweak exactly how safe is that tweak, cus i dont feel like messing up my pc again.

Also, i can find everything else beside the allow30shader. I have a geforce 6800, the closest thing i see to it is ballow20hairshaders=1.

dont know man, it's right in there in the oblivion.ini file

C:\Documents and Settings\jigoku\My Documents\My Games\Oblivion

Obviously yours wont say 'jigoku' though since that's the name of my computer.

Well i found out, why it wasnt showing up, it's because i was going to the wrong configuration file.

Would it be better to play with HDR enabled or disabled w/ 4xAA?

Thought you could only play with HDR or AA unless you have an X1900XT i believe so. Though i dont have the game so i dont know

mmk...i did those first 2 tweaks but i only get 2-3 fps increase in outside. well, better than nothing but w/ all the grass, no tweak will matter that much.

There's a patch that allows for running both on ATI cards.
