Top spin keyboard laggggg

i have
ASUS SLI Delux, AMD64 3000+ Venice 1GB Ram
Geforce 6800GT...

I have installed this game called 'Top spin' and ...
Once I get into a match, there seems to be a huge lag/delay between when I press the key on the keyboard and when the player reacts. When I press right, the player doesn't move for about 2-3sec, then when it moves it doesn't stop moving, just continues to run in that direction. Otherwise the game runs smoothly, there's no lag on the movement of the computer player.

Can anyone pinpoint where the problem may lie?.

i thought top spin was only for xbox

I think there was a PC version released in Europe...not sure about that tho
