Gaming has definitely matured into mainstream entertainment over the past couple of years so there will always be the argument over whether kids should be playing certain games as they become more and more realistic.

The gaming culture which was traditionally aimed at children, has now moved into the more adult centered environment, which is why there is such uproar when it comes to violent games.

As most non-gaming parents still think PS3, Xbox and PC games are still generally aimed at children they feel disgusted at the amount of violence portrayed in the game. Until this mindset is changed we will always see the same argument as to why the latest and greatest GTA should be banned P)

I played the GTA's and all that stuff and I got scholarships to NC State and straight A's, there's nothing wrong with these games, parents should loosen up now if their kid is becoming obsessed with the games it's one thing but just playing a few good games is fine it stinks that the few who are ust punks misbehave and the "professionals" blame it on games when really it's just an excuse, there's always been and always gonna be troublemakers it has nothing to do with the games.
