I know more details than most, but NDA. I can't lean to either side though.
By the time Zen is released later this year we'll be on the 7th gen Kabylake. Thus bringing another 10% IPC increase and a board product refresh. Skylake has it's advantages over Haswell, and Kabylake will strengthen this while making them further from Haswell. The one advantage they will have is 8 core CPUs cheaper than Intel's HEDT chips. May or may not help with native DX12 games.
