There is no need to upgrade NOW
But within a year or two you have a slow CPU Right now, our CPU's are being outdated, so I am just planning ahead on what I will replace mine with down the road in 6 monthes or so
When your ready to upgrade though, and you want stay with Intel, your gonna be looking at changing motherboard and CPU
The fastest you can get for Socket 478 is 3.4ghz, not alot faster then yours
