Steam Problem

Steam says its updating but wont, and when it does it says steam is temporarily unavailable, though my friend can get on fine. Please help! I deleted the clientregistry.blob and now it wont even update, it stays at 0. Please help!

umm... firewall

Whenever steam cant connect to the internet it always shows that updating window..

Just turn off your firewall and see if that works.

Otherwise just reinstall steam (you will still have the games on your account)

delete steam off of your computer. then go get it again.
